January 8, 2024: The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Yusuf bin Ahmed Kanoo Group, Mr. Khalid Mohamed Kanoo, welcomed His Excellency Sh. Khalifa Bin Ahmed Bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, at the headquarters of the Yusuf bin Ahmed Kanoo office in the Diplomatic Area, in the presence of the Deputy Chairman, Mr. Fawzi Ahmed Kanoo, and members of the Board of Directors, to provide his Excellency with project updates of the Kanoo Museum.
During the meeting, Group Chairman, Mr. Khalid Mohamed Kanoo, welcomed his Excellency and praised his continuous efforts in promoting the cultural achievements of the Kingdom of Bahrain on the regional and global levels, affirming his confidence in the company’s collaboration with the Culture Authority in enhancing the value and importance of the new museum project, which will be located at the company’s historic building in Souq Al Manama to document the Kanoo family’s historical entrepreneurial journey.
His Excellency Sh. Khalifa Bin Ahmed Bin Abdulla Al Khalifa also expressed his pleasure in the opportunity to work alongside the Kanoo family to complete this iconic museum, which will fortify Manama as a center for culture and heritage, affirming that this project will be a source of inspiration for the future generations, praising the family’s vital role in supporting the cultural movement in the Kingdom of Bahrain
